Devotion- Our Immutable God

I know I still make mistakes
You have new mercy for me every day
‘Cause Your love never fails
You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There may be pain in the night
But joy comes in the morning

“Your Love Never Fails” by Newsboys

It is repeated over and over in the Bible how wonderful and loving God is to His children.  After all, He sent Jesus to die for us for our sins.  “Your Love Never Fails” by Newsboys is a great interpretation of God’s power.  No matter how many times we stumble, God has unlimited mercy for us.  This mercy will never change for in Malachi 3:6 it is stated “I the LORD do not change…”

Your Love Never Fails Newsboys

We, as humans, change every day.  Thank goodness we can rely on God to be the one constant thing in our lives.  If you feel like your life is out of control, lean on God.  He never changes, He loves you, and he will bring you joy in the morning and whenever you need it.  One of God’s many characteristics is immutability meaning He never changes.  When your life seems out of control, find peace in God because He is always constant and always loving you.

No questions from me today, I just want to hear your thoughts!

Blessings,

  1. Wow! I’m listening to a sermon this morning just on this, on God’s faithfulness despite our unfaithfulness, God’s justice and mercy despite our sin, and it Is SO ENCOURAGING! 🙂 Thanks Alison <333
