DIY Make-Up Remover

Make-up remover is expensive.  I see two options to solving this dilemma.. either 1) don’t wear makeup or 2) make you own.  I’m here to show you how to make you own makeup remover for pennies and it takes no time at all!  All you need is three ingredients.

DIY Make-Up Remover

This DIY tutorial is all natural and uses no harsh chemicals.  Why would somebody want to put damaging chemicals on their face?  Not me.

DIY Makeup Remover ingredients

DIY Make-Up Remover

1 1/2 cups water
1/2 tsp. baby oil
1 Tbl. baby shampoo
containers

In a bowl (or measuring cup) put the water, baby oil, and shampoo in it.  Mix vigorously until you see little bubbles, that way you know when it is well mixed.

Store in air-tight containers for use.  I saved some Neutrogena bottles from their makeup remover.  You can also store it in a mason jar.

Usually the Neutrogena make-up remover costs $8 a bottle.  With this recipe, I was able to fill 3 Neutrogena jars for a fraction of the cost!
